First thing you'll notice about me, other than my shiny head, is my Aussie accent (despite having lived in the US for 20 years) which as it turns out, is a great sales tool in presentations.
Second thing you'll notice, once you get me talking about ads, marketing, and the future of big agencies, is that you can't shut me up. There's a reason for that.
I have a point of view about marketing that my clients find valuable. I believe that in striving 'only for ROI' we've forgotten how powerful and emotive a strong brand can be.
Strong brand-affirming creative can work its proverbial ass off.
Over twenty years, I've come to a way of working where creativity and strategy must be conjoined to achieve the greatest success. I believe that anyone can produce a great idea, not just those holding a 'creative' title. I believe that innovation should be at the center of ideation; the route from A to Success is rarely linear (ask me about KFC). And when you invite your client along for the ride, they buy better work.
